Explorers are a go-getting group of young people aged 14 to 18. Together, they make up the fourth section of the Scouts.

Week in and week out, they gather in groups called Units to try new things, make new friends and conquer the small task of changing the world.

The Celts Explorer Scout Unit formally known as 1st Creigiau Venture Unit which formed in September 1999 and closed on the 1st September 2002 with the advent of Explorer Scouting.

The Celts Explorer Scout Unit have a partnership agreement with the 1st Creigiau Scout Group.

It has a full and active program and also allows young people to complete their Duke of Edinburgh awards.
